Alternator wiring


Above - Wiring schematic - GTO specific provided by both SSP and Tom Wong

First try - WRONG
A - connected to PCM
B connected direct to positive terminal
Positive terminal connected to positive battery post.

Over charging battery and draining battery when left connected overnight.

New '04 GTO Alternator, F-body PCM and 944 Porsche chassis.

2nd try - Also WRONG
Terminal A - fused Link to + Terminal at back of alternator
B - not connected to anything
+ Post at back of Alternator connected to positive battery post

Charging at 14 v, but draining the battery when the car is not running.
